1. Make peace with your past, so it wont screw up the present.... Berdamai dg masa lalu, meski terkadang menyakitkan... maka, kenangan itu takkan lagi melukaimu, malah menjadi makin bijak....

4.Don't compare your life to others and don't judge them. You've no idea what their journey is all about. (Jangan bandingkan hidupmu dg org lain ato menghakimi org lain. Kita ga pernah tahu apa yg dia alami)

5.Stop thinking too much, it's allright not to know the answer. They will come to you when you least expect it. Jangan berpikir dan berharap berlebihan. Kadang, kita ga perlu jawaban. Akan tiba saat yg tepat.

6. No one is in charge of your happines, except you..... Tidak ada orang yg bertanggungjawab atas kebahagiaanmu kecuali dirimu sendiri.....

7. Smile.... You don't own all the problems in the world. Tersenyumlah...... Bukan cuma kamu di dunia ini yang punya masalah.

 

 

 

My Wife doesn't work

My Wife DOES NOT WORK !!!

Conversation between a Husband (H) and a Psychologist (P):

P : What do you do for a living Mr. Bandy?
H : I work as an Accountant in a Bank.

P : Your Wife ?
H : She doesn't work. She's a Housewife only.

P : Who makes breakfast for your family in the morning?
H : My Wife, because she doesn't work.

P : At what time does your wife wake up for making breakfast?
H : She wakes up at around 5 am because she cleans the house first before making breakfast.

P : How do your kids go to school?
H : My wife takes them to school, because she doesn't work.

P : After taking your kids to school, what does she do?
H : She goes to the market, then goes back home for cooking and laundry. You know, she doesn't work.

P : In the evening, after you go back home from office, what do you do?
H : Take rest, because i'm tired due to all day works.

P : What does your wife do then?
H : She prepares meals, serving our kids, preparing meals for me and cleaning the dishes, cleaning the house then taking kids to bed.

The daily routines of your wives commence from early morning to late night. That is called 'DOESN'T WORK'??!!

David J. Pollay : The Garbage Truck

How often do you let other people/s nonsense change your mood?? Do you let a bad driver, rude waiter, curt boss, or an insensitive employee ruin your day?  However, the mark of a succesfull  person is how quickly one can get back their focus on what’s important. 

David J. Pollay explain his story in this way…… Sixteen years ago l learned this lesson.  I learned it in the back of a New York city taxi cab. Here’s  what happened. I hopped in a taxi, and we took off for Grand Central Situation. We were driving in the right lane when, all of a sudden, a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his breaks, skidded, and missed the other car’s  back end by just inches !! The driver of the other car, the guy who almost caused  a big accident,  whipped his head around and he started yelling bad words at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy.  And I mean….. he was friendly. So, l said, “Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital?”  And this is when my taxi driver told me what l now call The Law of The Garbage Truck”.

“Many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointed. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it. And if you let them, they’ll dump it on you.  When someone wants to dump on you, don’t take it personally. You just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on.  You’ll be happy you did”.

I started thinking, how often do l let garbage trucks run right over me” and how often do l take their garbage and spread it to other people: at home, at work, on the street? It was that day l said, “I’m not going to do it anymore”.

Life’s too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. Love the people who treat you right. Forget about the ones who don’t. Believe that anything happens for a reason.  Never let The Garbage Truck run over you……

40 years of marriage..
A married couple in their early 60s are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary in a quiet, romantic little restaurant.
